Forthehounds is a 501(c) (3) non-profit ,sight hound rescue group, consisting of sight hound owners from South Carolina and surrounding states. Our Primary rescue effort is finding loving homes for retired racing Greyhounds. In addition we also have experience living with and placing other sight hounds such as Italian Greyhounds, whippets, and Borzoi’s.
Racing Greyhounds adopted through our program are usually between eighteen months and five years old. These ex-racers are sensitive, intelligent, quiet, clean, good-natured, adaptable dogs who adjust readily to their new home environment.
