The idea for ForReel.com was born one sunny December afternoon in 1998 during a staff meeting of a Victoria, BC, website design company. Over the usual buckets of latte, we discussed our plans for the weekend, which usually include a trip or two to the movies. The ForReel staff have at least three common interests: latte, the internet and movies. The internet is the perfect medium for providing showtimes, because it's current, quick and provides access to so much detailed information on films and moviemaking. So ... why wasn't anyone doing it?

ForReel can be summed up as a movie information site provided by locals for locals. It will be updated with current Vancouver Island movie listings every Friday morning.
