The official Danish food database compiled and edited by the Nutrition Unit, National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark.
The food databank provides information on energy, fat, carbohydrate, protein, vitamins, minerals and much more for a selected number of foods on the Danish market.

Fødevareinstituttets afdeling for Ernæring viderefører en meget lang tradition med udgivelse af tabeller over fødevarernes næringsindhold med at skifte fra de trykte tabeller til udgivelse af fødevaredata på nettet.
I de sidste cirka 30 år har det været en offentlig opgave at systematisere og udgive de mange tusinde data, som stammer dels fra undersøgelser foretaget af Fødevareinstituttet, tidligere i Danmarks Fødevareforsknings / Fødevaredirektoratets / Levnedsmiddelstyrelsens / Statens Levnedsmiddelinstituts regi, dels fra andre forsknings- og industrilaboratorier.

Man kan få oplysninger om næringsindhold i en række fødevarer og hente næringsstofdata ned til eget brug i en række formatter.
Food Institute's Department of Nutrition continues a long tradition of publishing tables of food nutrient content of switching from the printed tables of food to release data on the web.
In the last about 30 years, it has been a public duty to systemize and publish the thousands of data that comes partly from studies by the National Food Institute and predecessors, and from other research and industrial laboratories. Food Tables have a very long tradition in Denmark.
