Description

Excerpted from the website:

My name is Steve Laurie, I live in Sydney Australia and I've been a loose-knit member of 2600 for many years. I am the administrator of a relatively small heterogenous network comprised of several UNIX (Solaris, FreeBSD and OpenBSD) machines, a couple of Linux machines, a couple of Windows XP machines and an Apple iMac. My network first started life back around 1990 when I got my hands on a copy of Windows NT and it's sort of grown (out of control to my wife's horror) over the years. Every time I collect enough parts to build another computer, I whack a network card in it, install an OS (usually Solaris these days) and introduce it to the rest of the machines I've made and collected over time that are on my LAN.
