Our parent company, Scotties Canvas, was founded in 1963 by a Scottish immigrant who brought his family to Southwest Florida. Over the years, Scotties has grown and prospered due to its reputation for quality products, fair prices and knowledgeable employees. Though the founder has since passed on, the Scotties tradition continues to this day under the watchful guardianship of his children.
In November, 2000, Scotties launched foldingrecliners.com, which quickly established itself as the premiere internet retail site for Lafuma Recliners. Since then, we've continued to be the retailer of choice when shopping for Lafuma products.
What better company to represent the Lafuma line of award-winning ergonomic recliners, chairs and outdoor furniture? Lafuma Recliners begin with high level elastic steel frames. Fifteen percent lighter than ordinary steel of the same strength, HLE steel has extremely regular characteristics, resulting in aesthetically pleasing lines. The mattresses are made from Batyline (mesh) or Airlon (padded) fabrics, and are suspended from the frame by replaceable elastic laces. All Lafuma recliners, cots and chairs come with a two-year limited warranty.
