FastNet S.A. is a company focused on Internet and networking applications. It was founded in 1995 in Athens Greece, and since then has followed a growing path.
For the past two years we have been developing an advanced wide area network in Athens covering business needs for Internet - Intranets and data connectivity in general. This network is growing fast and by the end of the year we will have established more than 15 major points of presence in the area of Athens, covering data transfer, VoIP and advanced telecom needs for business users. The backbone of this network is based on high speed wireless bridges placed and maintained solely by FastNet technicians.
Lately we have begun design and installation of "smart buildings", complete cable connectivity of large buildings. These local networks, are connected to our wireless network excluding any participation of Greek Telecom Organization (OTE) leaving FastNet S.A. responsible for both the service as well as the technical maintenance.
