- The Foundation for Mind-Being Research was established in 1980 to assist in the evolution of integrated models that encompass the physical, mental and spiritual. The objective is to bring the new field of consciousness studies into wider recognition as a bona fide field of science. We recognize that experience represents the foundation for everything we know and that experiments are the "experiences" of scientists. The essence of science is the interplay between data from experiments and models. In science every model or theory is always tentative.
