JIM Air, Inc. is a native-owned company owned by Jim Bern and his wife, Lisa, that began business in April of 1992 with a single airplane. In December of 1992, JIM Air incorporated and became an on-demand passenger and air cargo air carrier. Additional aircraft were added and JIM Air moved to its current location at 4200 Floatplane Drive on the north shore of Lake Hood. We currently operate a fleet of one Pilatus PC-12, three Cessna 206’s and one Cessna 182 and have an additional base in Cordova that focuses on providing service to the small villages and communities in Prince William Sound and surrounding areas.

JIM Air, Inc. has been certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the State of Alaska and has also received the Federal designation of 8(a) status.

Our reputation of providing responsible and reliable service has spread throughout the State with requests for charter service coming in from other, more remote villages in Alaska.
