- [06/25/2007] The AFSP is currently re-evaluating the new Expiration Policy. As a result, AFSP is delaying the published implementation date of June 25. We will publish further guidance about the new Expiration policy and the new implementation date as soon we have more information. In the meantime, please continue to operate under the existing guidelines for the expiration of AFSP training requests. Once a candidate receives approval, s/he must begin training within 180 days and finish within 365 days. Please note: this change does not affect the new Cancellation Policy, which will still go into effect June 25 as published.
