but the naming of this site arose from less drastic (and painful) roots. The word, four letters and almost impossible to misspell (good attributes for a internet domain) is the name of a character in three of Mervyn Peake's books, often referred to as the Gormenghast trilogy. "Titus Groan", "Gormenghast" and "Titus Alone" happen to rank among this site's author's favorites. And we think it's kind of cool.
Flay.Com was created by Christopher Stewart and has been running in one form or another since 1995. The author is a visual effects artist working in film and television. Credits include Stargate SG1, The Outer Limits, Smallville and the features Good Boy, Garfield and Elektra.
