The Lockhart clan arrived in Lake George from Scotland during the French and Indian War period and settled on a grant of land on the east side of Lake George. Born and raised on Lockhart Mountain in Lake George, your guide, Ed Lockhart, is a third generation New York State Licensed guide. A graduate of Paul Smiths College in Forestry and Land Surveying, Lockhart is also an Emergency Medical Technician with an extensive background in all aspects of guiding. Wilderness Survival, Animal Tracking, Remote Site Trips and White Water Rafting are other areas of experience.
