Jim and Janet Dillow of Virginia, IL started FishinPals in 2001 while Jim was pastoring. Jim left pastoring and went out to devote time to FishinPals, which has grown to become world known. Not only does FishinPals hold local fishing events but has been blessed to help others who have received a call to become involved in this type of ministry. Also local congregations have started their own local ministry using the sport fishing as an outreach ministry. At a FishinPals event a time of devotion and the giving of thanks for God's Great Outdoors and His Son is given.
