As we celebrate the relevance of Jesus for our lives today, we are also a church with a long and significant history in Moncton (we date back to 1828). While commited to the timely expression of the timeless "Good News" of Jesus Christ, there is much in our history that we cherish and celebrate.
At First Baptist, we are a people who represent a variety of backgrounds and life experiences, but who are united in our love for, our trust in , and our service to Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is God's son, and is the only way of salvation and that the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God. We believe that Christ's church transcends geographical regions, ethnicity and cultural boundaries.
