First Light was born out of the love of cycle touring. The team is made up of long-term cyclists from different disciplines who share a passion for the outdoors and believe bicycle touring is a great way to travel. Starting in 2001 with four tours to Czech Republic, we now offer over 15 guided, self-guided and custom tours in the UK, France, Italy, Austria and Czech Republic and are exploring new areas all the time.
Our tours are meticulously designed and researched to offer the best a region has to offer, on great road routes that travel through historically important and culturally rich regions. We seek out less travelled, authentic regions where the natural beauty can’t be photographed from a tour bus. Our groups are small, our guides seasoned and knowledgeable. You can expect personable service, quality equipment, flexible itineraries and lots of fun. We’ve found that our guests become our friends, and some even become Trip Guides.
