The First Baptist Church congregation began over 200 years ago. The church family today is a blend of children, young adults, families, and seniors. About 150 gather for worship each Sunday and about 100 attend Sunday School and Adult Education classes. The week is filled with small groups that study scripture, pray together, and give the support and encouragement each Christian needs to live faithfully for Christ.
