First Light Aviation serves customers across the USA and Canada, as well as overseas markets. We offer excellent flex-wing trikes by Air Creation of France and Australia's AirBorne Windsports, high quality accessories and government approved flight training programs. We can take care of all your trike flying needs, from your first introductory lesson to thousand mile cross country trips.
First Light Aviation is owned and operated by Wayne and Rachel Bezner Kerr. Wayne is an FAA CFI (WSCL) and AFI. He is also a Designated Pilot and Instructor Examiner (DPE-SFIE), and all -around enthusiastic aviator. We've been involved in flying for over 15 years, divided between unpoweredand powered aircraft. We worked and flew with the Trumpeter Swan Migration Project forfour years, and were proud to maintain a perfect safety record after hundreds of hours of flying over some of the most rugged terrain anywhere. Our company name comes from the magical experience of watching the sun rise behind our wingtips - an experience we hope to share with you.
We combine our enthusiasm for grassroots flying with a hardnosed attitude about safety, and it can be seen in the quality of our equipment and instruction. We want our customers to be sharing the air for decades to come. Our goal as a flight school comes from the Transport Canada Flight Instructor's Guide:
