Established in 1993, Finland.com Oy is a private company specialising in travel communications and publishing. Our portfolio of publications includes the LomaSuomi magazine, which is one of the largest travel media in Finland and the Nordic countries. LomaSuomi (Holiday Finland) is published in Finnish twice a year and has a print run of 800,000 copies. The Look at Finland travel publication intended for the international market is published in five languages and has a print run of 300,000 copies. Additionally, through the years we have been commissioned to produce hundreds of travel publications, including Finnish Tourist Board brochures for distribution in a number of different countries around the world.
We are also market leader in online travel communications in Finland. The Finnish-language www.lomasuomi.fi travel portal features over 15,000 travel facts about Finland. Consumers can also receive the same information on their mobile phone. We also have an online photo office, which has been in operation for nine years. Visit us at www.comma.fi to access over 20,000 photos of Finland. We have used our photo office technology to build 2-3 new image banks each year for various organisations. Our latest challenge is the Finland.com internet portal, into which we will be channelling all our long-term travel, visualisation and technological excellence.
Our corporate clients include Finland’s largest hotel chains, transport companies, tourist areas, the Finnish Tourist Board, advertising agencies and a host of brand products outside the Finnish tourist business. Some 1,000 corporate clients use our services on a regular basis.
