Rick Kaminskas is a self taught artist. He uses the technical pen and a combination of line work and pointallism to create a feeling of depth and dimension. Extensive use of shadows create a sense of drama not usually achieved in this medium.
Inspiration comes from various sources including the Library of Congress American Memories collection of depression era photography taken by government photographers.
