Title

FIG :: Philosophy

Description

The FIG philosophy is: anything that can be named has its own awareness, conscience, and free will. The word FIG is the generic term for this kind of entity. So, anything that can be named is a FIG. You are a FIG, objects are FIGs, ideas are FIGs, the FIG philosophy is a FIG.

Awareness means that FIGs perceive and learn from one another. Conscience means that FIGs have an internal sense of right and wrong. Free will means that FIGs have intentions, and can communicate them to other FIGs.

This philosophy matters because it takes human beings out of the centre of the universe. We are FIGs like all the rest, but we are still learning how to use our rational minds in the service of our conscience. Putting ourselves in the service of our conscience means respecting all other FIGs.
