What Sets Us Apart
In the Old Testament book of Numbers we see Caleb as an example of what a Christian should stand for. He demonstrated the courage to keep his committment to God in the face of overwhelming odds and peer pressure. God said he had a "different spirit". He would not compromise nor conform to those around him. As a result the Lord said, (Numbers 13:24),"But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land we went to and his descendents will inherit it."
If God is to bless his followers and His church is to change the world, we must have a different spirit. As Jesus was totally committed to his Father, his disciples must be as well.
Our gracious God will bring anyone who chooses to commit to him into the promised land of heaven. We would like to invite you to share in this hope for the future and the joy it brings us as we worship our awesome Lord each week!
