In 2004 they established Fides HK to provide this operational support, and strategic consulting based on the gained experiences. Fides HK started its China-activities from Hong Kong. As an important financial centre within the Far East region, it's highly developed business-services, and its economical and cultural links to the Pearl River Delta and China as a whole, Hong Kong plays a key-role in the development and execution of China-strategies. In the vision of Mr. Van Vliet and Mr. Bloemers a logical starting-point for the development of their business. In July 2005 Fides HK opened its office in Shanghai. A crucial step in the coordination of its activities in the Yangtze River Delta, and its goal to provide local support under its own control in the economic regions where its clients are active in.
