- I believe it was about two years now, since my friend showed me Final Fantasy IX on Playstation. My first opinion on the game was that is was a lot of talking and reading. But I soon found out that it was much more. Since I was very young, I didn't incredibly enjoy reading, however Final Fantasy displayed to me a whole new level of story telling with visuals to aid the dialogue. I thought that the Final Fantasy IX story was fascinating, I immediately became immersed into the game.
