Bob Closs and William Wilcox started Fetch Logisticsin 1997 in a corner of Closs' parents' basement. They had formerly worked together for a national transportation company’s Western New York regional office and developed some of their own ideas about how to run a logistics operation. Rather than trying to change the policies of their employer, Closs and Wilcox started their own business. As the company grew, they were joined in 2001 by partner Bob Atwater.
