Mike Spandern founded FeedConcepts
"Working in and for the premier industry is my passion. Everybody has to eat and drink and the world wants energy. My idea is not only to apply modern business strategies, but to be creative without limits and to inspire people. I don't think outside the box, I am outside the box and want to bring my clients here too. It's all about people." Mike Spandern studied international agrobusiness at the Technical Humboldt University of Berlin and graduated as Dipl.Ing. / MSc. in agricultural science with a focus on animal nutrition at the University of Kiel.
He started his industry career in sales, product development and nutrition for a large feed compounder and grain elevator in Northern Germany. To serve the industry from the other side of the desk Spandern then joined the feed additive and ethanol business as a sales manager for a global bio-tech company in Germany and later relocated to Seattle to build the company's presence in the Pacific Northwest USA. This work provided numerous opportunities to gain profund experience in all aspect of production and marketing in the feed and bio-fuels industries.
