- About the Foundation
- In late 1998, the Flat-Coated Retriever Society of America, Inc.(FCRSA) authorized the creation of a tax exempt non-profit organization to benefit the health and welfare of the breed. This organization is The Flat-Coated Retriever Foundation. While the Foundation is empowered to take on a variety of activities to benefit Flat-Coated Retrievers, its primary responsibilities are in the area of health and rescue. The Foundation will work with the existing FCRSA Cancer Resource Committee, Sharon Myers Health Committee and Rescue Committee to help further their efforts.
