- A citizen's group called Friends of Coyote Hills & Fremont (FCH&F) has formed and is rapidly growing to ensure that development proposals will not be allowed to negatively impact or degrade in any way the irreplaceable regional treasures that are Coyote Hills Regional Park, Alameda Creek Trail and Crandall Creek Trail or the surrounding Ardenwood community. We are working to pass the Measure K, the Protect Coyote Hills Natural Area Initiative, which will be on the Fremont ballot in November. Once this open space is gone, it will be lost forever; once development is here, the impacts will never go away.
