In 1996, IFT Inc. formally changed its name to Fire Cause Analysis (FCA) in order to better reflect the company goal of providing the most outstanding fire investigation, research and forensic analysis services in the country. The company was originally founded in 1977 by a group of engineers and scientists at the University of California, Berkeley, who came together in order to apply advanced engineering and materials science techniques to real world fire-related problems. This focus continues at FCA, where sophisticated technical services are provided to client companies of all types and sizes.
In addition to providing high quality consulting services, FCA prides itself on creating a work environment that fosters challenge, growth and opportunity for its professional staff and associates.
