How This Services Started(Brief): The Fbox Network run by Cormie & Associates INC, started offering free hosting services and free (Cpanel/WHM) reseller accounts to the people. They have a few sites like 5-GB, Free Cpanel Host, and many others advertising free webhosting and free reseller accounts. The approach was diffrent from most other services because it did not require people to post to keep their account. The activation was verified by people signing up in the forums and confirming that they are a real person and active. Thus the website Fbox Network was created.
Over the few months after it started they decide to use the forums more. They started providing extras and aditional services for people who went and post at the forums. The upgrades ranged from more bandwidth/space to a free domain.
A few months after the offers of posting for upgrades they started to offer people a chance to complete offers and exchange them for products like domains/rapidshare accounts and many other products. The Fbox Network slowly started to add aditional services/reward for people who complete the offers that they have. These new offers include recieving a small cash payout, gift card credit cards, games, mp3 players. You can also exchange points for webhosting services which are greater then the free services, as well as advertisment free.

Like any other service offering free product, these offers are from third party website in which they get paid for everyone they reffer. The Fbox Network gives back a certain amount to the people who fill out these offers, by having a point system in which they can use to excange for services.

The FBox Network provides our customers with a very reliable and redundant service VIA a BGP from LightEdge Solutions, we're able to get routes from at&t, Qwest, XO, Cogent and Verizon Business (formerly UUNet/MCI). To ensure maximum redundancy, various providers are pulled in from multiple cities so that if one link were to fail, there would be a failover. Additionally, LightEdge Solutions enters the building from two diverse areas of the building, ensuring that there is no single-point of failure.
The network is monitored at two locations - one from our providers IA, TX, LA, and the UK and also from The FBox Network NOC in LA to ensure 24/7 availability.
The network has capacity of 200 Gb/s which is designed to expand as needed. Once the network has reached 75% utilization, additional bandwidth is ordered to ensure network stability.

- In late December the owner of F-Box services ( Bradon Cormie ) abruptly stopped providing service leaving the moderation team and some volunteer staff members completely confused. F-box since late 2008 near December has shut down indefinitely and some domains that the original owner had registered has also expired.
The owner has yet to provide a reason and the owner has not been seen or heard from ever since.
