Kody Taylor has been a business owner for more than 16 years. During that time, she's sold windows and wood stoves and designed a home or two along
the way. But it wasn't until just two years ago when she discovered that she really loved doing interior decorating and faux painting. "I grew up in a family of decorating gurus. I learned from my mother, my aunts and my grandmother. My mother could go to a garage sale, find a piece of furniture, strip it, refinish it and make it look like a custom piece," Kody says. She learned faux painting from her aunt, who is an interior designer. You can see some of Kody's faux painting techniques at Favorites to Wear and Brandy's Restaurant in Flagstaff.
