The largest experimental electronic music community in Los Angeles, the Fateless Flows Collective was founded in 2001 to promote new forms of electronic music on the West Coast. Fateless Flows comprises signed and unsigned artists encompassing a range of musical backgrounds and styles, with the common goal of exploring the interface between technology and music. Members of the collective collaborate to produce groundbreaking compilations and live events.

The music of Fateless Flows artists can be found globally online and in stores at outlets including iTunes, Napster, Virgin Megastore, Tower Records, and Amoeba Music to name a few. Tracks by collective members have been heard locally on radio stations including KCRW, Indie 103.1, KXLU, KUCI, and Power 106 as well as many others around the globe. Live events have been hosted at large and small venues throughout Los Angeles including the Museum of Contemporary Art, LA; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Bergamot Station, LA Art Fest, Knitting Factory, LA; and the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).

The Fateless Flows Collective began in 2001, when Dean De Benedictis invited artists Doug Rimerman and Jay Skinner to play one night of electronic music at Zen Sushi in Los Angeles. The evening was called Fateless Flows.
