OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Amateur Softball Association has announced the selection of 12 umpires to represent the United States this summer at three international events. These 12 individuals, who are all ISF certified, represent 10 different ASA Associations and have proven they are among the elite in their profession.

Lori Bish (Tacoma, WA/Seattle ASA) and Traci Stoelting (Avon, IN/Indiana ASA) will be representing the United States at the 2006 Women’s World Championship in Beijing, China. The XI ISF World Championship will be held Aug. 27–Sept. 5 and will be used to qualify the top four teams for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

The World University Softball Championships will be held in Tainan City, Taiwan, July 15-23, and will feature one umpire from the United States. Christina Drumm (Oceanside, CA/Southern California ASA) has been named as the U.S. representative for this event.
