In 2006 the owners of familypractice.com decided to discontinue the site and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) acquired the domain name and certain licensing rights. After deliberation the AAFP chose not to operate familypractice.com as an independent site but rather to enhance the offerings on aafp.org to include expandedboard-review resources, including a collection ofboard review questions.
