About Us
The George J. Falter Co. was established in 1878. With candy being our main commodity, we manufactured hard candy, assorted chocolates and pulled taffy. During World War II, we made eagle pops and bagged candy under the Falter label.
We partnered with Hershey Foods in fundraising in 1978, followed by M&M/Mars and Sunline, selling Wonka products. In 1985 we purchased a local fundraising company and established Falter Fund Raising, a division dedicated to helping schools, churches and other non-profit fundraising groups.
Along with candy, we have grown into a full line distributor with frozen foods, beverages, dry groceries, automotive supplies, health and beauty aids, paper supplies, plastic & foam cups & utensils, and more. We are a service-oriented supplier, and our goal is to distribute product to our customers in a timely fashion and to be their partners in profit. We network to provide the best service in a time when service is a precious commodity.
