Our organization struggled to find a cost effective solution to monitor and baseline our Active Directory Servers. EZLOOKIN.COM wanted a solution that was highly automated and required very minimal user intervention. We wanted threshold monitoring, graphs, and a web based control panel to monitor our AD servers anytime and anywhere.We wanted built-in reporting. We wanted to automate repetitive tasks like the archival or deletion of IIS 5 and IIS 6 logs on Windows 2000 or Windows 2003. We wanted to monitor services and track response times. We wanted to monitor the bandwidth usage of our servers network interface cards. And finally, we wanted an agent-less solution that used WMI which is built in to Windows 2000 and higher operating systems. We never found that product, so we created one. We took the best features of all the different tools and combined them into one web-based Active Directory server monitoring solution.
