Dr. Sherman is a 1980 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1984. After practicing in Western Pennsylvania for two years, Dr. Sherman moved to Oceanside, California and in 1987 established his private optometric practice. In May 1999, Dr.Sherman expanded with a second practice in the Carmel Mountain Ranch community of San Diego.
