extrudeZ - 3D models and meshes for Bryce, Poser and Carrara
Description
extrudeZ was formed to share the hundreds of 3D models built for commercial use (by extudeZ and ABACUS Digital Design) over the past 5 years with the rest of the 3D community. Painstaking attention to detail is evident in even the most mundane objects.
The majority of the 3D models available at extrudeZ are created in Eovia's Carrara® Studio in conjuction with other programs such as Amorphium®, Amapi3D® and Strata 3Dpro®. Although there are usually a couple different computers used throughout the process, the primary production computer is a 500MHz Apple® PowerMac G4, with 704MB RAM, 32MB video card, Wacom Intuos tablet, two 20GB internal hard-drives, 60GB external firewire scratch disk, and a secondary external 6GB firewire drive. Second to the Mac is a 733MHz Pentium III® running W2000 Pro® for Windows based beta testing and various Windows only applications related to the production of Poser figures and UV Mapping. An Olympus D-460 Zoom is used for texture aquistition from ANYTHING in the surrounding vacinity and then downloaded to a 700Mhz Apple® iBook with 640MB RAM.
