- The Expatriate Group of Companies started as Expatriate Resources Ltd. in 1993. In November 2003, StrataGold Corporation (SGV.TSX-V) was established as a public vehicle for the gold properties formerly held within the company. In December 2004, the company changed its name to Yukon Zinc Corporation (YZC.SX-V), and moved all of its non-Finalyson District properties into a newly formed public company, Pacifica Resources (PAX.TSX-V).
