My name is Bob and I have just about the best job in the world. First, I get to live in this most magnificent corner of New England and I get to share it with others who appreciate the beauty of the Cape Cod National Seashore. I hope my love of the Cape Cod area, and of the Even'tide (short for Evening Tide), is contagious and some of my enthusiasm will rub off on you.
One of the more satisfying aspects of my job is when first-time visitors become repeat customers, repeat customers turn into regular customers and all the while, everyone is becoming friends. Actually, meeting nice people from all over the world is what makes my daily life interesting and fun.
The Even'tide isn't your ordinary Cape Cod motel and cottage complex. We are family operated and family built (all the buildings including the indoor pool, and much of the furniture was hand made). The fine workmanship is a testimonial to the hard work and skill of the late owner, Richard Filliman. He was so concerned about noise that he built two separate insulated walls between the rooms to ensure his guest's comfort.
