About Magdalena Williams
What makes the business of European Floral Design unique is the person behind it all, Magdalena Williams. Her talent for creating glorious arrangements through unusual choices of flowers, textures and a variety of containers is obvious, as is her energy and love of design. Magdalena grew up in Poland, traveled all over Europe, and spent months in China, so her shop is steeped in European influence and elegant, classic style. Her talents as a designer saw her creating displays and event designs in New York, Chicago, and Dallas, but owning European Floral Design is the realization of a long held dream...to work in the medium she loves, and work with clients who have dreams as well! The "heart" of this business is her wedding and event creations that get rave reviews long after the celebrations have ended. Presidential banquets to beach weddings - all get her special attention to details of design. With a warehouse full of beautiful event accessories (from elegant candelabras to handmade vine pedestals), her events are always stunning!

- It is said: people who love flowers will always have one or two favorites that remind them of a past happy time. For me, it’s the poppy and the rose. As a child, I loved to play in my parent’s garden on warm, breezy summer days sculpting poppies into dolls and adorning them with cornflower hair and rose petalted clothes. Each fall my mother’s kitchen was delicately perfumed with the sweet scent of rose as we laughed and gossiped while preparing rosehip jam and rose water washes for the winter. These happy times followed me to Poland, to New York and now to Athens, Georgia where I work passionately to create floral designs that are a harmony of colors and tones and textures and shapes, scented and sweet...a design of simple elegance that will represent the essence of the moment and will last in your memories of the time.
