Matthew Roy started Eurotranslation.com in 1999 by merging under a single brand the freelance language services that he had been offering since 1991. He received his Ph.D. in Scandinavian Languages and Literatures from the University of Washington in 2001 after serving as a Fulbright Scholar in Stockholm, Sweden. During his long career in the language services industry, he has translated for such agencies as WorldLingo, Stratcore, Translations.com, and Transperfect. Top-tier companies including Berlitz, Cranium, and Microsoft have turned to Matthew as well for projects ranging from daylong intensive cultural training consultation to comprehensive localization project management. In order to prepare the next generation of language professionals, Matthew has also taught a variety of language courses at colleges, universities, and language learning institutes. Today, Matthew is proud to offer language services in English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, French, Finnish, Dutch, and German.
