www.eu2004.ie is the official website of the Irish Presidency of the EU, which runs from 1 January to 30 June 2004. The website is produced by the Department of Foreign Affairs, in conjunction with all Government Departments and agencies.
The website has material published in English, Irish and French and complies with the AA rating of the Web Accessiblity Initiative guidelines.
The website aims to be a key source of information on all aspects of the Irish EU Presidency. The information published on the website will be of use to a range of users, from members of the media corps, officials from other Member States, representatives of the social partners, those interested in the EU and European politics as well as members of the general public.
