The area is enclosed by an Eruv. In addition to Etz Ahaim, there are other Orthodox congregations (Ashkenazi) within the Eruv. Our synagogue is located within walking distance of Rutgers University and the towns of New Brunswick and Edison. Highland Park has easy access to New York City via train and bus.
