For many years Helen and family have been enjoying holidays in Tuscany (visiting Ian). On one of those warm, relaxing evenings (while watching the Tuscan sun dip over the cypress trees) we began to talk about the possibility of creating a travel business that could capture this experience for others. Both Ian and Helen were ready for a new challenge and quickly realised that this could become a reality. Our aim was to use years of extensive travel and tourism experience to enable other people to enjoy a holiday like ours. We decided to create a company that was friendly, hands-on and completely professional.
Ian met Sarah in Sardinia whilst they were both working for a large UK tour operator and quickly established a great friendship. Realising they shared a common outlook on how a holiday should be, it was not long before Essential Sardinia was born.
At Essential Italy, Essential Sardinia (and now Essential Portugal), we all share a desire to treat our clients as individuals and offer a professional, friendly and fun service.
