In the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, ESP began placing candidates in positions such as Junior Programmer/Junior Programmer Analyst averaging a salary of $8,400-9,600 annually, Senior Programmer/Sr. Programmer Analyst using IBM 360/30, COBOL/BAL averaging $9,600-12,000 annually, and Managers/Systems Programmers averaging between $10,000-15,000 annually.
