Gehazi’s eclectic jewelry collection began to garner attention on the national scene when the Detroit-based company’s designs were chosen in the celebrity gift bags for singer and actress Sheryl Lee Ralph’s Divas Simply Singing benefit concert and for tennis legend Billie Jean King’s Women’s Sports Foundation annual Salute to Women in Sports.
Since then, Gehazi has received inquiries from around the country about the latest designs. Several Gehazi creations were highlighted in the January 2006 issue of Ebony magazine. Two bracelets debuted on Martha Stewart, and other pieces have been featured in Woman’s World, Celebrity Living Weekly, the National Examiner and other publications.
The Mah Jongg collection has been at the forefront of the resurgence of Mah Jongg in popular culture, with three bracelets recently featured in the new book "Mah Jongg: From Shanghai to Miami Beach," and items appearing in Woman’s World and the National Examiner.
