The league is one of 4 Regional Leagues within Ontario, and it serves two Districts, EODSA (Ottawa area) and SOSA (Kingston area). Future plans are to invite Renfrew County to the ERSL. This area is part of the SNE District.
Regional divisions are offered for boys and girls in the age groups under 13 to under 18, and for men and women at the under 21 age group. The champions of the boys and girls divisions are eligible for promotion to the Ontario Youth Soccer League.
