Award winning, Feminist Erotic Filmmaker, Anna Brownfield, is currently casting for her controversial, "New Wave Erotic" film entitled "The Band", set in the Melbourne rock scene.
"We are looking for female performers who are outgoing, natural and are prepared to push the boundaries." Says Brownfield, "Ideally you need to be an exhibitionist who is comfortable not only in your body but in your sexuality as well. While performance experience is an advantage, we are willing to work with non actors who possess the right attitude."
Based on true stories that Anna collected while working as a door bitch at the Tote, one of Melbourne’s longest running rock venues, the film explores sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll but from a female viewpoint.
