Dr. Abel is a graduate of Marquette University and a Sonoma County native. Having grown up in the Santa Rosa area, she is proud to be practicing on her home turf. Dr Abel prides herself on her sensitive and caring chairside manner, an asset she feels is a mandatory component for any dentist. Her Modus Operendum is simple - having spent many many hours in the chair as a patient herself, she simply treats her patients the way she makes the dentists treat her - with open ears and lots of TLC.
Tammi Jarvinen is Dr. Abel's Office Manager. Tammy began working in the dental field as an assistant, graduating from Santa Rosa Junior College. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of a dental office and will handle all your scheduling needs and financial obligations. Tammy was married in 2002 and is expecting her first child in October. Her two Shelties will surely have fun with the new baby! Please feel free to call her with your questions.
Evelyne is Dr. Abel's Dental Assistant. She is married and the mother of two teenagers. Though married to a Sonoma County native, she's been here only since 1990. She attended Santa Rosa Junior College Dental Assisting Program from which she graduated in 1992, obtained her RDA license and has worked as an assistant in general dentistry ever since. Evelyne knows how intimidating dental visits are for many people and you'll always receive her compassion, helpful manner and great sense of humor during your visits.
