Description
Erhard's award winning photographs of architecture, interior design, hotels, and residences have appeared in numerous books and publications worldwide. He is based in Los Angeles but covers assignments in the United States as well as internationally, in particular in Asia, Europe and Latin America. As a popular guest speaker on Architectural and Interior Design Photography he has lectured at Brooks Institute of Photography, the American Institute of Architects, and the Asian American Society in Manila, Philippines. He is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers and the Advertising Photographers of America.
The 2006 Star of Design Award was given to Erhard at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles during Westweek on March 29, 2006. A distinguished panel of judges chose him for his photography of architecture and design.
The exhibiton Building for Bacchus – Adventurous Wine Architecture is currently at COPIA: The American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts in Napa, California. Until the end of April a selection of 30 beautiful photographs that Erhard took for the book Adventurous Wine Architecture will be on display. The book written by Michael Webb and released by Images Publishing is turning out to be a great success. It was Erhard’s pet project stretching over the last two years. It combines his love for wine, architecture and photography. Unlike all his other assignments photographed with a 4x5 camera and film most of the images for this book were captured digitally allowing Erhard to hone his skills.
