Equity Investment Advisers & Sharebrokers Ltd have been providing trusted investment advice since 1984, and have published the New Zealand Investor magazine since 1993.
EQUITY is a commission-based adviser, which does not charge the client for its advice, even where this is given in individual meetings. The company receives a fee from the fund managers into whose funds EQUITY clients are investing, and from brokerage on share deals. EQUITY does not handle its clients' cash, and relies to a large extent on the fund managers fulfilling their ethical duty by paying EQUITY the fee due to it.
Two very important principles were established early on: firstly, EQUITY would provide unbiased advice and offer the widest range of investments from property, through to fixed interest and shares, taking into account only the potential of the investment.
